In 2014, my teaching position was removed, and I had an important decision to make: look for work again or figure out how to turn what I loved into a business that would value my time, effort, and expertise. The choice seemed obvious. I said “I can Upgrade My Life!”

Prior to that moment, I could be found stashing my dreams, vision boards, unfinished projects and ideas into a bin with hopes of "One Day," starting my own company. I procrastinated to begin because I felt like I had to have "Everything Together," before I began. The job loss allowed me to pivot my mindset and recognize that my journey to entrepreneurship could begin!

I began to recall the 5 years of persistence research I embarked upon and formed a learning technology that would help people overcome insurmountable challenges. 

I decided to design an Upgrade journey for others to experience. I had many moments of despair, anxiety, and distraction in the midst of forming my company. In these moments, I also reminded myself that one day you would show up with the same concerns.

Fast forward to today and I have given over 10,000 lessons to leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs on upgrading their lives and businesses.

People in my programs have upgraded by authoring books, designing training programs, launching passion projects, and leveraging earning power. My clients have collectively earned more than 1.3 million in revenue. This number keeps growing. More importantly, our experts, leaders, educators and specialists are driven with the infectious desire to make an impact in the lives of others.

I will never forget the first time my participants ran up to me after securing a $30,000-thousand-dollar grant to help students succeed in arts and science (I AM SMILING AS I THINK OF IT). Another satisfied customer wrote, “I never thought that my goal of empowering teens was possible!"
